The image tells us that fair trade is supporting people in third world and developing countries. The african woman shows that it's a quite poor area and the cocoa beans around her tell us that it's not England, and that it's a different location. The fact that they are using Cadbury's it will get more people to buy it because Cadbury is a big chocolate company and it's well known.

The message on this image is not that obvious because there is just a logo, the name of the charity, and there isn't any images. This image is not going to stand out to the audience, especially if they don't know what 'Oxfam' is.

Unit 5.1 : Campaigns

An advertising campaign is a series of advertisement messages that advertise a product or an issue.

This advert is a road safety advert which is talking about the difference it can make from going over 30 miles per hour. A little girl explains that if she's hit by a car at 40mph then there's 80% chance she could die. But if you hit her hit at 30mph there's 80% chance she'll live. This advert is aimed at adults because only adults can drive and it's up to them to kill their speed. They use a little girl in the advert because it persuades you to kill your speed because you wouldn't want to kill a child. They reversed the girl to give people the message that they can reverse their actions.

This is an advert which is asking you to help the abandoned and lost dogs just by sponsoring at least £1 a month to them at 'Dogs Trust'. This is aimed at people that care enough about animals to donate to them. One of the techniques that they use to persuade you is by showing you clips and images of the dogs to make you feel sorry for them and make you want to donate to them. Also, the background music makes you feel emotional.

This one asks you to call 'Childline' if you are getting bullied because they don't want it to lead to suicide like it did with Daniel. This advert is targeted at children at school if they are getting bullied, and for children outside school as well. They show the suicide part because if kids see that that happened and they don't want it to happen to them, then it will get the kids to phone childline and tell them that they are getting bullied.
